We are looking for a?dynamic and enthusiastic Vehicle Sales Consultant?for our state-of-the-art?Dealership in Yeovil working with the Kia brand, one of the most exciting and fastest growing manufacturers in the UK.

As a Sales Consultant within the FJ Chalke Group, you’ll be responsible for the entire sales process from start to end – you’ll take complete ownership of each and every valued sale.

Day to day, you might:

• Meet and greet customers who visit the dealership.
• Create relationships with current and prospective customers, identifying and truly understanding their individual needs.
• Build and use the knowledge you have of the world-class Kia brand to satisfy customer enquiries.
• Prospect existing and potential customers, you will never be struggling for leads!
• Utilise your existing negotiating and selling skills to convert leads into profitable sales while complying with FCA procedures.
• Ensure your customers are kept up to date every step of the way through their journey with us, from initial contact and placing an order, to handover and continued satisfaction after they drive away.
• Seek opportunities to upsell, while remaining realistic.
• Strive to exceed sales targets (commission is uncapped!)
• Stay up to date with all the latest product releases from Kia, one of the most popular car manufacturers in the world.

The ideal candidate:

• Has a proven record of exceeding sales targets within the retail vehicle sector
• Is positive, punctual, presentable, hardworking, flexible, and driven
• Sees and maximises sales opportunities based on each customer’s individual requirements
• Will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excels in customer service – you always go above and beyond to make people happy
• Can manage their own busy workload as well as performing as part of a tight-knit team
• Thrives and remains calm under pressure, whilst meeting deadlines

Key requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points
• A desire to provide exceptional customer experiences
• The ability to learn and use specialist computer-based systems
• Driven to exceed performance and target expectations

Salary:

• £21,000 basic, £35,000 + OTE (Uncapped commission)

Working pattern:

• Monday – Saturday 08:30 – 18:00 (one day off in the week).
• Saturday 08:30 – 17:00
• Sunday 10:00 – 16:00 (though we are currently trialling Sunday closure to assist with employee’s work / life balance)
