Customer Service Advisors, Multiple Locations

The Position:

We are recruiting for experienced Customer Service Advisors to join FJ Chalke. We offer you a combination of a basic salary plus commission, which is determined by you and your progression. We also offer a Company Pension Scheme and annual bonus.

Key Elements of the position:

  • To acknowledge both potential and existing customers of the business in a warm and friendly manner
  • Using the booking system, appoint customers for repairs, servicing, warranty work and MOT tests
  • Manage all invoicing aspects in order to achieve departmental KPI’s
  • The ability to advise customers regarding parts and services in a professional and effective way
  • Finalise and document all customer visits in order to meet manufacturer standards
  • To continuously deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction in addition to having self-pride

Required Knowledge:

  • Key up-sell items and incentives – effectively used to improve the business and increase growth
  • Telephone techniques and etiquette
  • Appropriate customer handling skills
  • Automotive systems (e.g. understanding of basic vehicle layout, function and location of parts) and current issues
  • In-house computer systems and the internet
  • General office equipment (i.e. telephone systems, copiers, fax machines, internet)
  • Previous experience working within a main dealer is not essential, but preferred

The FJ Chalke Group are based in Mere, Wincanton, & Yeovil and are franchised dealers for Abarth, Fiat, Jeep, Isuzu, Kia, Nissan, and Suzuki.
