Charger installed at The George Inn, Wedmore

On Saturday 27th June Sharon Fay joined local MP Tessa Munt at the launch of their Electric Vehicle Charger at The George Inn, Wedmore. The charger recently installed by Zero Carbon World has been fitted in the car park allowing you to enjoy the on site facilities whilst your car is charging!

The Battery Electric Vehicles of Bristol visit FJ Chalke Nissan, Saturday 9th February

We were joined by the BEVoB for an informal chat, EV camaraderie, and a chance to catch up with the latest EV news from around the south west and the world. It was a place to learn about becoming a better EV driver, maximising your range, and learning everything from how an electric car works to where to charge!

Meet FJ Chalke - The Experts at AP Chant Saturday 26th January

We had a really successful day at AP Chant on Saturday. Everyone enjoyed the presentation and were left speechless by their test drive in the Nissan LEAF. The day was completed by yummy cupcakes and coffee from the Hive Beach Cafe.

AP Chant Renewable Energy - Electric Carport Charger Launch Saturday 24th November

Saturday was a rainy day however this didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the visitors to AP Chant.

The Mayor happily opened the event and the first ever carport charger in Bridport, and also claimed he was impressed with how quiet the 100% Electric LEAF was!

AP Chant are currently driving their electric loan car to visit new and existing customers.

The Royal Bath & West Show

Four perfect days of weather, Michael Eavis and our 100% electric leaf was just some of the highlights of the 2012 Royal Bath & West Show!!

Jersey International Motoring Festival
Friday 25th May – Sunday 27th May

FJ Chalke took the Nissan LEAF to the RUBiS Jersey International Motoring Festival, the largest annual motoring event in the Channel Islands, comprising of competitive sprint and hill climbs for classic & vintage cars and motorcycles.

The full programme of events included touring cars and motorcycles, ancillary trade stands and exhibits from all Jersey motoring clubs.

Hestercombe Gardens 30th March

We joined Michael Eavis (Founder of Glastonbury Festival) who unveiled the new charging point alongside Jeremy Browne MP (Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament for Taunton Deane) and Jim Duncan from Reaction Electric. After the unveiling there was a question & answer opportunity and also the chance to test drive a 100% electric Nissan LEAF.
